Need help getting your European (EU) Certificate?

If you're a European citizen and you intend to move to Portugal, you'll need to get a EU Certificate to legalize your stay in Portugal. We make the process of getting your EU Certificate as quick and simple as possible.

What's a EU Certificate and why do I need it?

The EU Certificate is a residence permit that allows European citizens to live in Portugal for up to five years. After living in Portugal for five consecutive years, you will automatically obtain permanent residency status in Portugal.

Once you've received your EU Certificate, you will have most of the rights of a Portuguese citizen, including the ability to work and study in Portugal, access to national healthcare, and access to the Portuguese justice system. You will also be a tax resident in Portugal.

In addition, in order to be considered for the non-habitual resident status, you will first need to get the EU Certificate.
